Epic music is becoming very popular among music lovers and industry figures alike. Mark Petrie has kept up well with some of the best composers out there. The second trailer for The Amazing Spiderman featured an excellent piece of music from Mark Petrie called Aurora. This is a great sounding track that contains a lot of power thanks to a powerful beat that emanates throughout. Code of Honour is an epic piece of music with a rousing orchestral sound that captures the heart of some of the best war films from the history of cinema.
Another outstanding creation is a track called Special Forces. It is another example of a track that stirs the imagination. It manages to instil hope but at the same time there is an underlying feeling of sadness to it.  His passion for epic music comes across on all of his musical creations none more so than Infinite Space. This is a driving tune that uses a massive orchestral sound, a choir and thumping drumbeats to help envelop the listener.
Stand out tracks from Mark Petrie
Like all good composers Mark Petrie has developed a unique sound over the years which comes across exceptionally well on many of his tracks. Like any great composer Petrie has come up with a select few tracks that stand tall above all the others, the kind of music that manages to stir the soul. One track in particular, From Within, has a distinctly familiar sound (the recent Transformers films spring to mind). That aside, it’s a great track that manages to inspire the soul on the most uninspiring of days. Reach for the Stars is another great track that is more upbeat than the one mentioned above. There is a toe tapping beat throughout and an orchestral element that completes the sound.
